Submarine (Channel 5)

Submarine An ITV production for Channel 5, this was written, produced and directed by Richard Kennan, with Jim Ring as Special Consultant, to mark the centenary of the Royal Navy's Submarine Service. By combining a week of filming onboard a modern nuclear powered submarine with historic eyewitness testimony, archive footage, official documents and personal photographs, the film reveals the remarkable and heroic exploits of those who choose to live their lives beneath the sea.
