The Service we offer:

1. Fully developed and scripted video productions across a wide range of genres; commercial, promotional, training, scientific, public information.

2. The option to make several versions of your video. From the full version, we can make short versions for your website or versions specially tailored for presentations.

3. Conference coverage: We regularly cover conferences in large Conference Complexes and small Lecture Theatres. We can provide full coverage of the conference as well as edited highlights  and versions with additional material such as interviews with key speakers.  We can also combine video of the speakers’ presentations with their Powerpoint slides for delivery as PDF files.

4. All versions of the video can be delivered as DVDs or files suitable for electronic distribution and web insertion; .mov, .wmv, . mpeg2, mp4, etc

5. Although not part of our own  on-site service, we can arrange for, and oversee,  the duplication of DVDs and the production of DVD sleeve and disc artwork. When the project is complete, you take delivery of a box of DVDs, in their cases, ready for immediate distribution.

 Full In-House Production

Gig House Films offers a full in-house production service. It begins with Jim Ring, Head of Development, meeting with the client to work up a creative brief tailored specifically to the client’s needs; deciding on what message the film needs to impart; identifying the audience; deciding on the most appropriate form to reach that audience; how to fit these requirements to the available budget.  When the script is agreed with the client, the Gig House Production Manager can begin scheduling so that the crew can begin filming. Gig House owns all the means of production – cameras, lights, sound and editing - which means that we can provide a fast, efficient, and flexible service.   Editing and all post production takes place at the premises of Gig House Films although editing on location can be provided. Mobile Editing

Mobile editing can be provided should this be required operationally. Same day editing of a conference we filmed for the UN in South Africa provided an ‘edited highlights’ film for the UN to put on their website early the next morning for all those who were unable to attend the conference. Similarly, a conference filmed for the Advertising Association during the morning was edited on location and available on their website that same evening. Back to top

FTP access

Use of FTP means that Rough Cuts can be seen from our server by the client anywhere in the world.  Alternatively, DVDs or mpeg files can be sent by conventional mail.  Back to top

Original Music

A ‘resident’ composer is available to provide a film score written and performed specifically for each film. Back to top

DVD Packaging and Duplication

Although Gig House Films does not offer an in-house DVD duplication and sleeve artwork design service it can – and does regularly – arrange this on behalf of clients with a provider who has demonstrated consistent reliability and efficiency.  If clients would like this service please refer to Kate Faire for further details and a quotation. Back to top

Multimedia

Gig House can deliver on DVD or in a variety of file types for use on the client’s website.  Our own You Tube channel is available for clients’ short term use. Back to top

Media training, assistance with public speaking, teaching film making and communications skills to students have all been part of our recent business portfolio. Back to top

E-Learning

Gig House has been successfully providing film content for e-learning and  educational projects in general. We would be delighted to discuss clients’ requirements to integrate short film clips – originated by us – into e-learning projects. We have delivered such material for a schools e-learning project looking at Diversity and, also, we have integrated three dimensional computer animation with live action surgery for a training scheme for orthopaedic surgeons. Back to top
